CVPS Central Florida Photography Tour with Jim Roetzel and Steve Ash

February 25 – March 2, 2018

Join the Cuyahoga Valley Photo Society for a tour of Central Florida's best bird photography locations with Jim Roetzel and Steve Ash. This photo tour will have two instructional sessions prior to the tour to improve your skills with bird photography, including learning to photograph birds in flight, correctly metering for white birds, best camera and lens settings for bird photography, and creative approaches to compelling avian images.

Once we get to Florida, we will be visiting 6-10 locations, starting near the city of Titusville. From there, we’ll visit Merritt Island, Vierra and Orlando Wetlands, and two municipal parks. Leaving Titusville, we travel to Lakeland where Circle B Bar Reserve will be our main focus. We will also discuss traveling with your gear, organizing and processing images on the road and, as times allows, we’ll critique images while in Florida. We will also gather after the tour to share favorite images from the trip. So if you want to get away from winter, put that long lens to use, and improve your photography skills - please consider joining us in Florida!
